Brentan Schellenbach

By some divine interference by the universe, Brentan found a yoga mat. Her personal practice is her own platform to discover the access points to peace, love, gratitude, generosity and courage. For Brentan, the asana practice extends far beyond the mat, and eventually becomes a practice of meditation, writing, observing the world we live in and listening to other people. Her background includes Iyengar, Anusara and Core Strength Vinyasa Flow. For Brentan, these are merely frameworks for understanding the body, and she looks forward to building philosophies of movement that are relevant, transformational and completely effective—today’s philosophy of movement will be different than tomorrow’s, simply based on present bodies, minds and hearts. Her intention as a teacher is to a provide classroom space in which to build a physical framework of safety, integration and intelligence; and an internal framework of relaxation, introspection, release and acceptance. With gratitude only, she says the following: may we each allow ourselves to step into our greatness. See you on the mat!
